LSRC unit arives!
At 12:05 the D735 headed past MP 8 in Bridgeport, MI with A CSXT GP38-2, and WRIX 2003, a GP35? ( im back about 500' or so from the tracks, with some trees in the way and he was moving at a good clip, but it looked like a GP40 body, but realy couldent tell if the middle fan was lower), both headed north, they are going to leav it in a track and tie it down, as they are almost out of time, and the HESR westside crew is about to come back. Then a yard job will move the locos later. Possobil good photos around 6th st.

Its at 6th street, and I just came back from seeing it....... its a GP35 all the way around.... in a GP35 body.... its a former SP unit, as the headlights are horizoltal in the front nose...... it has a orange rotary becon and is WRIX 2003. it appears to have DJJX markings on the cab painted out. It is green and has yellow saftey strips on the front of the cab and nose reminisant of the old MKT units. it has yellow handrails and green rail sanctions. I didnt see the horn, but i'm guessint it'll have a 3 chime former SP horn or a 3 chime standard horn. Doc mislabeled the unit as werx 2003 it is in fact WRIX 2003.

Thanks,
OC

Now, I see to understand from another rr in Mich. about WRIX (http://www.westernrailinc.com/loci2.htm) GP38M exGP35 #2003 photo. I look them that almost like MKT schemes colors http://pages.tca.net/lruback/katy.htm but they're not same scheme styles.
Really, Does SBS want that scheme colors - green and yellow stripes?
