BLISSFIELD - The Old Road Dinner Train in Blissfield has introduced a new mystery/comedy titled "Howiewood Squares" on its dinner train on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
The new production, which is presented by the Actors' Company of Toledo, is a satirical takeoff on the TV show "Hollywood Squares." The Old Road Dinner Train features a 2 1/2 to 3-hour train ride, a mystery/comedy show and a five-course dinner of prime rib, seafood or chicken by The Legacy Restaurant of Blissfield, according to a news release.

Dale Pape, Old Road Dinner Train vice president and general manager, said the train's 2005 lineup includes an updated Hudson River car from the Long Island Railroad Commuter Coach.

Cost of the dinner train is $69.95 per person and advance ticket purchase is required. Reservations for the Mystery/Comedy Dinner Train may be made by calling (888) GO-RAIL-1.

With its corporate headquarters in Westland, just outside Detroit, the Adrian & Blissfield Rail Road Co. consists of the parent company, a freight train operation in Adrian and Blissfield, plus The Old Dinner Train in Blissfield, The Old Dinner Train in Charlotte, Charlotte Southern Railroad Co., Detroit Connecting Railroad Co., Lapeer Industrial Railroad Co. and Tecumseh Branch Connecting Railroad Co.
