Or at least I think that this was 480. Anyway, whatever train this was had THREE, yes, THREE GT "Bluebirds" leading! That is very rare in this day and age. Leading was GP38-2 #4918 with GP9Rs 4612 and 4628. The train was eastbound at the East Lansing Amtrak Station around 11:30 AM This morning:

If there is a train on the CN that has the ability to roster all GT power 480/481? and also the locals. The first day(I think it was the first day, if not I know that it was the first week) that 480 ran It came arond the corner in Durand with 5 GTW units. 3 GP38s and 2 GP9Rs. I would post the pics, but they are verry badley under exposed.
Matt you surpsise me that you managed to get a symbol right. The counterpart to 480 is 281. 281 hauls Racks from Flat Rock, picks up the I/'M at Moterm, takes it to Markham to setout the I/m and the Racks continue on to Gibson City, IL for interchange with NS. 281 and 480 will usually swap crews in the Durand area in the morning.
480 originates in Battle Creek with cars for Pontiac, Moterm, and Flat Rock.
