Drugs, Alcohol and Speed were said to be factors...also enter STUPID into the equation...

...blind....you could also add blind.....cause how do you miss THAT big an obstacle?!
(I've owned a 27' Sea-Ray Sundancer at South Haven, so I know just enough about boating safety & navigation to avoid such things)
Of course, if he/she was drunk as a skunk, he/she could have probably hit the side of a barn!
