Utica/Shelby question

Unread post by joeyuboats »

Does anyone remember a rail spur that crossed 23 Mile Road, between Ryan and Dequindre? This would have been in the late 70's and early 80's. This was around the corner from Yates Cider Mill----not the old NYC/PC/CR mainline, but further east. It went to a customer on the north side of 23 Mile---who was this customer?? Thanks in advance.

I don't recall the customers name but it was a produce distributer who received refrigerated box cars
