DETROIT (WXYZ) — Police are investigating after a train hit a car on Detroit's west side. It happened near Tireman and Greenfield, near the border with Dearborn.
The train has been pushed down the tracks away from the road. Right now, there's no word on what caused the crash, or if there are any injuries.
Drivers should avoid the area as the investigation continues.
Conrail's LV 4, while working on the Highland Park branch encountered a car stuck on the track with all 4 wheels in the air and engine still running and in gear. Their first instructions were to see if they could move it Took about 3 hours for someone to show up and drag it off the track. I'll bet Tyrone was mad when he came back for his ride.......
