Proposed silent railroad crossings Brighton, Michigan

In an open to the public meeting in Brighton, the possibility of having silent railroad crossings was mentioned while discussing upgrades to Main Street.

Those are nice. UNTIL there's a FATALITY ! Then the OMG's why did the railroad do that :-)
