L'Anse to Baraga Discontinuance of Service

Will go into effect November 8 unless contested. My understanding is that in recent years the only reason CN ran to Baraga was for crew to overnight at a motel there. Recent operational changes have made this unnecessary. Note that a discontinuance of service is not an abandonment petition. The White Pine sub is also in the same discontinuance of service status.
