Drove by the Norfolk Southern building (originally Conrail) on Michigan Ave., in Dearborn and noticed that a for sale sign has been placed in front of it.

If I’m not mistaken I think that’s Dearborn Division’s headquarters.

NS planning a major selloff or just moving divisional HQ?

Should come as no surprise that NS would be selling the building. The building was over half empty for the past decade, and now with the dispatchers having moved to Atlanta, the building is 3/4 empty.

Nothing left there rr wise. what was left , claims dept, PD, etc . All moved to a Toledo high-rise that they own. FoMoCo own the building and property. They needed it for office space while some construction goes on at the Glass house.

Where is the NS Michigan Line dispatchers located now? I know the Conrail SA dispatchers now located in New Jersey.
Also the Amtrak Michigan Line dispatchers office now?

Amtrak dispatches the line out of Chicago.

NS owns the building, Ford Land owns the land.
