To help make this thread stand out a little more, could you add "Receives New Locomotive" to the title? (Or something of the like?)

Train location updates should be posted in that forum. Here is the link to the current Michigan Shortlines Update thread for the current month.

Also the 3390 and 3391 both still carry the MQT logos but are officially lettered for the HESR.

Where did the 2145 come from? Is it a repaint, did it come from another G&W property or is it a new acquisition?

HESR 2145 is a repaint I’m guessing it’s a X NS

HESR is supposed to be getting two fresh rebuilt GP38-2s, ex NS units that have had their noses chopped like the current one they have. When those arrive, 3390 is supposed to go back to Marquette Rail, and two HESR units are supposedly going to be transferred to the Otter Tail Valley as well. All subject to change, of course!

The 3044 and 3045 are reportedly the units going to Otter Tail Valley.

HESR 3414 is now active also.

The 3045 is still on HESR. I saw it on 740 last week in Saginaw.

HESR 2144 was delivered last week. It was shipped NS/AA/GLC to Durand. Its the former NS 5112.
