Any updates on the cab signaling for the Charger units here in Mich.

I’ve been waiting for the NGEC July meeting notes to come out specifically for that update, but almost one month later they still haven’t been posted. The August minutes are due soon too, probably in the next couple weeks.

Last update from June says that we aren’t going to be seeing the Chargers in Michigan until at least this Fall, if not later.

I for one am not complaining. As much as I like the Charger, there’s always something....comforting about those old GEs.

As much as I like the Charger, there’s always something....comforting about those old GEs.

The chug-chug-chug of those units getting started after a station stop is as endearing as it is polluting. I loathe the look of the soapboxes but will always be fond of their sounds.
