Railroaders find suspect in Mt. Pleasant

Reported by Mlive this morning. A GLC crew going thru the north side of Mt. Pleasant came upon the suspect who shot his parents at CMU a little after midnight. Authorities were notified and he was apprehended on the north side of town. All the police and helicopters there yesterday and a train crew spots him in the dark. Wow.

He was caught riding a train car per 9&10.

According to USA today he had discarded yesterday's clothing along the tracks.

Mt. Pleasant newspaper reported at 1:30am suspect was seen riding a train by another individual who reported he was on board a train passing thru town.

I guess to finally put it to rest, WWMT is reporting (based on the official timeline of events published by the CMU Director of Communications) that a passing train crew saw the suspect from the train and called it in.
