While I have it here somewhere, have not been able to put my finger on it yet. Does anyone know the date, or approximate date the Michigan dispatchers returned from Jacksonville to Calumet City? I show even thought the Saginaw dispatchers left first, the date the Grand Rapids dispatchers first moved to Jacksonville was on Feb. 27, 1990.

Unless just a force of habit, the afternoon dispatcher several times has announced himself as CSX RN Dispatcher "Chicago" I know that some of them do say Chicago even though most say Calumet City, but the thought has crossed my mind that perhaps both Consoles are still working at both locations, at least for a few days.

It is just habit, the desk is being dispatched from down south. As for when the desks came up both, April of 2006 is what sounds right in my head. I am not 100% sure on that date.

I actually haven't heard the RN today. I have been hearing the RA, saying Calumet City.

The RA and the RB are staying in the Chicagoland area.

Nope, jobs are still in Cal City. There is not an extra board there anymore, so if one of the regulars marks off, it’s filled out of Jax.
