Looking at Railmark Holding's new website, it appears that they are trying another venture here in Michigan called the Detroit Terminal Railway. Seems they have been all over the place since abandoning the MAL RR in Walled Lake (Sault Ste. Marie-Hearst train on CN and the Columbia Star Dinner train, which both ended poorly). Now they have a railroad out in CA, but no STB filing? Same with here in MI?
Any details on this new Detroit Terminal Railway (http://www.rail-road.com)?
Thanks
Pat T.
New Detroit Terminal Railway?
Re: New Detroit Terminal Railway?
Do they even own any locomotives?
I find it funny they still use the ex-GTW switcher (now owned by GLLX) in their advertisements.
Here's a link from the Altamont Press Discussion Board regarding the Yreka Western:

It appears that Railmark supplied and refurbished seven BUDD passenger cars and a power car for Ferromex's Health Train. That power car is from the Michigan Star Clipper Dinner Train operation (and is originally from the Pennsy's Keystone train).

Re: New Detroit Terminal Railway?
This guy is an accident waiting for a place to happen. One failed venture after another. Feel sorry for whomever he has convinced to "invest" in his latest scheme, as they are also likely to be the next creditors suing him to get back the gold that they were promised. Sadly, they will only be able to "take a number" in the line of creditors nipping at his heels. Folks in Missouri are chasing him to the tune of $1.28 Million. As they say, a fool and his money shall soon part!

Re: New Detroit Terminal Railway?
There is a big difference between Riverview Trenton (Maroun run) and Detroit Terminal Railway (moron run). Maroun has money, has been successful in his business ventures and has a business plan. The guy behind Detroit Terminal Railway has no money, has run everything he has ever touched into the ground, and has no real plan.
