Sperry Car - How Often?

Is there a rule regarding frequency of internal rail inspection? Seems like I’ve heard the Sperry car a lot lately, through the spring, summer, and now fall. Going through Benton Harbor again today.

One reason would be, the higher the speed the more frequent the inspection. Also passenger vs freight and amount of traffic.
