Unknown shortline power on CN

I saw a westbound CN freight about 4 am on Sept 4 2017. Trailing the CN power were a pair of 4 axle units. One looked to be ex UP, and the other was possibly ex Rail America? No chance to get numbers.

Would these be something of the HESR from Durand or did they come out of Canada?

The one is almost certainly a former RailAmerica unit. Where did you see them at?

Good point. They were headed through East Lansing.

They were on M399. CN 2674, CN 2140, BCOL 4644, LLPX 2241 and RLK 4057. Both of the GPs are bound for Metro East Industries in East St. Louis, Illinois.
They came from Canada.

Not as a RLK unit, but it is a former CSXT unit so it is possible it came up that way.
