At the Howell Melon Fest, I could hear GLC on the scanner. Channel 31 I think. But I don't know about for normal operations.

Today while watching GLC switching Amerhart in Williamsburg, I could hear radio traffic coming from the cab. They mostly use hand signals around here but I have also seen on occasion the crew using hand held radios to talk to the engineer. I have lost track over the years of what frequency they use up here but was the same as Cadillac dispatch. What frequency would ch. 31 be?

Thank you, I'll give it a try. Shouldn't be too hard, after all they did put a "Man on the Moon" Kenneth.

AAR 31 (160.575) for the majority of their operations. AAR 66 (161.100) would be the equivalent of their yard channel.

Thanks 1225, now I'll have to find my scanner unused for several years.
