Curious? Want to learn how to be a Brakeman, Conductor, or eventually an Engineer? Just want to help out? This is the day to do it!

Southern Michigan Railroad Society's annual required safety training day will be Saturday June 10th at 1:00 in Clinton. New members are welcome and applications for membership will be accepted that day. Bring steel toed high ankle work boots, long pants, work gloves, safety vest and hard hat are encouraged but some are available as loaners. Dress to get a little dirty. A short train trip may happen if time after classroom work is complete.

Also this Saturday May 20th there will be an unscheduled charter trip around 1:00 for a private party of classic Ford car enthusiasts. So this means the parking lot will be full of Thunderbirds, Mustangs and the like.
What smells like lube oil and diesel.... Oh wait it's just my "Locomotive Breath"
