*Thread Bump* Any idea what the covered hoppers on the main are for? (Image date Aug 2018). Is the small yard full of tank cars, storage for EQ?

(The second image shows DCON switching the scrap metal yard in 2017. I thought it was cool that the Google Maps car caught that!)

The Covered Hoppers / tanks are for the new transload on the south side of the crossing at Warren.

EQ receives tanks.

The Lettuce Yard is where the DCON stages empty cars for their 3 customers.

Drove by the yard during Thanksgiving Weekend. It appears that DCON has a new customer, ExxonMobil Lubricants (Vesco Oil).
DCON stages the cars in a fenced in area next to the building.

That is not a new customer, just an existing customer moving to a new unloading spot on the main next to their facility. They previously unloaded up the track just to the south of the scrap yard.

Thank you for confirming, Mike. That's what I suspected. Keep an eye on the old location, perhaps new business?

The old location pictured above received tanks for years. When the "new location" within the fence "opened", covered hoppers began to appear, reason for believing it to be a new customer or something related to Vesco. Now no more covered hoppers and all tanks.

Thanks for clearing that up! That track south of the scrap yard is also listed as a Railmark transload location.
