D708?
So I was curious, around what time does CSX local D708 typical leave Ensel Yard for it's typical day of work? I'm assuming it's sometime in the morning, but I'm not quite sure. And does it run Monday thru Friday?

They are typically on duty around the 10am range. They usually have some work to do switching out and building their train at Ensel as there's no yard job assigned to build trains there.
You'll usually find them heading east out of Lansing around noon-2pm. Lately they are finishing their work out east and back to Lansing in the 7-10pm range. They do indeed run Mon-Fri.

Re: D708?
Seems like they've settled into using D708's power as D707's power and vice versa, adopting a back-and-forth turn pair.
Re: D708?
D708 has had SD40-2 8145 as a single unit ever since D706 & 705 started on April 1st, and still did as of yesterday, long after D706 & 705 ceased to run on it's short stay.Saturnalia wrote:Seems like they've settled into using D708's power as D707's power and vice versa, adopting a back-and-forth turn pair.
