Quick question from a noob regarding CSX operations:
Do the D trainsover the Plymouth Sub usually have a designated set of power that is used (sort of like how the CN local in Kalamazoo or The BC-SB turn is) or does it vary from day to day needs?

Often times power will go back and forth, sometimes it changes. It's pretty much random when it changes currently.

Fascinating. Are they turning them into road trains to save money?
According to all known laws of aviation, there is no way a bee should be able to fly. Its wings are too small to get its fat little body off the ground. The bee, of course, flies anyway because bees don't care what humans think is impossible.
What CSX has yet to realize they don't need to run a train from Lansing to Toledo everyday they can easily get by with every other day or run a as needed Q train from GR to Toledo, Q334/335 worked out great the only issue was they ran everyday if CSX ran it as a as needed train they'd save some cash to

That's how D705 and D706 ran. Each train ran every other day, with D705 running one day, and then D706 running the next, then D705 running the next day, and so on. It also appears D701/702 are currently running that way, or at least that's how their running this particular weekend. Now if they were to add a new pair of Q trains between GR and Ohio, they may have to run daily just because their dealing with Flint and GR traffic all together now. Hence why 326/327 are running 6 days a week now (or will be, I can't remember if they are already).
