Stopped Train on The Wabash
I was on my way home from work today and I saw an odd thing on the NS Wabash line, in Raisin Center, MI. Around 6:20 this evening, I saw a North bound train stopped just short of Rogers Highway, blocking Laberdee Road. It is only a single track right there, so I would assume (and hope, lol) that they weren't waiting for a South bound train to pass. Another oddity was that both locomotives on the train were BNSF locos. I thought only NS and CP trains ran that line, any ideas as to what might have been going on?

You just saw BNSF locomotives being used on an NS train. Not uncommon anywhere. Railroads share locomotives all the time, and have agreements worked out for paying each other for use of the others locomotives.

Hey it is possible it does run, but you would have to get it running really fast to jump the gap.
