Petoskey Finley got what it wanted. I would like to know what under handed deal the city struck with MDOT to get the tracks through town. There was nothing in the paper or any public hearings held. I say this because the city had a water and sewer project starting at Rush st. with the removal of the rail road crossing, and lole and behold the crossing never was replaced, new curbe and sidewalks over were the tracks were. If I was the SRI I would stop at Boyne Falls and say the HELL with PETOSKEY.
