According to Trains mag. Cargill 1017 was moved from Dana In. to somewhere in Michigan? Anybody seen it? This was the last Alco produced by them in NY.

It looks like it went to GLLX. I wonder (and this is pure speculation) if it went to the West Michigan in Hartford? Seems to be the GLLX parking lot of choice. Not surprising given the current ownership of the line

It was spotted the other day in GDLK's Hughart Yard. That wouldn't line up with it going to Hartford, since it came to GR via CSX, WMI's sole interchange.

Huh. Sure looked like it in the photo I was shown of Hughart. Guess not! (Hence dismiss my previous post)

I saw it in Ensel yard on 708, couldn't get a picture of it though as I was working. Plus they left their cars on Main 2 while grabbing our cars.

That's the former Leelenau Scenic Engine right? If this is going to where I think it is, where with the GT GP9 end up?

So cool seeing all this vintage power moving around. I gotta check out the West Michigan Railroad. Not many T6's were made.

They also have an ex UP MP15 in addition to the SW1200, CF7 and T6. Please also be advised the engines are stored on private property and Hanson's security is not exactly friendly towards rail fans.
