NS Local Has a Nervous Break-Down

Unread post by JStryker722 »

NS GP40-2 #5140 with the Oakwood-Milan Local while running LHF suffered a engine failure by the Taylor Walmart where I work.the Conductor restarted it after shutting everything off in the engine, which did the trick and they continued on down the line.this was around 5:30pm.I wouldve taken pics of it but I was on the clock lol

Sounds like electrical failure shut the engine down. The only way to shut down a diesel is to cut off the fuel. No spark plugs. No coil. No distributor.
