Thanks, this should work! Now, I couldn't find anything for the Jail schedule! Does anyone know if they operate daily and times? I searched and found they now dispatch in "Digital!!!!" Do they "Interchange" trains with CSX at this location?
I doubt the JAIL will run on the weekend. The engines are usually tied down in Mason on a Saturday.
The crew will go on duty at 9am weekdays in Mason. They left for Lansing at 9:25am when I went up back in October.
The signal bridge in the photo was the distance signal for North Lansing and to protect the three sets of crossovers at Turner. There was an intervening track to the south of #2 track which was the eastbound main which required a dummy signal to the south of the double headed one for #2 track. It was directional double track at the time. The westbound signal was the same and was located about half way between Turner and North Sts.
I doubt the JAIL will run on the weekend. The engines are usually tied down in Mason on a Saturday.
For the past few months JAIL has worked almost every Saturday with an occasional Sunday but not to often. I have noticed over the same time frame on Monday and Tuesdays there was no activity.

OK, that is good! What are the chances of seeing JAIL working in Lansing mid afternoon tomorrow (Sat.)? I will start heading out NOW!!!!

Go over on a weekend when the businesses are closed. Park at the north end of Washington Ave. Walk over to the right of way. Walk along the fence line. Stay off the track. Have a look and take a picture. Walk back to your car. No alarm bells will ring at railroad head quarters.
OK, I went there yesterday afternoon (2-20) to photograph COE/Mal F7A #725!!!! I arrived with my good friend "Railfan Mark!!!!" Thanx for the location, it helped! Now, the business (at end of Washington) had some workers pass us! They just kept going as we were carrying cameras/tripod!!!! We walked along the grass/fence line (never walked onto tracks)! No "Alarms" went!!!! I also have contact with Allen Brown of Railmark®! This nice loco sure is a "Classic" and I miss the old COE Rail®! Now, I'll keep track of it as it heads to Stourbridge Line® in PA!!!! I went for the first time to Clara's® restaurant and ate in the 1912 Pullman® passenger car! I saw no other trains in Lansing!

No update, still there.

If it's as bad as it sounds, it could be months before it moves. JAIL might move it, but I bet the connecting carrier goes over it with a fine tooth comb before accepting it.
OK, I'll "Await" the time for an "Update!!!!" I guess CSX_CO was right—it could be "Months!!!!" I will keep following this old COE® "Classic!!!!"

Does anyone know how long until it is "Expected" to leave? I plan to be in the area on June 19th and wanted to see it again! Will it be gone before then?
The video was posted June 7th!

OK,Railyard Productions19,replied to me (on vid. link): "It's hard to say. I asked the track crew Friday and they didn't have a clue. I'm working in the area so check it often."

Pie39, I was there last Saturday (6-18) and it was still there!!!! It was hard to view at the end of Washington Street because of "Tank Cars" in front of it! You can see those on the video! We got the "Old COE" F7A through a fence off Turner Street!!!!

Just drove by a few hours ago on Turner. It was hard to see because they are still behind some cars, but it's still there. Quite a bit of tanker and hopper storage going on all around Lansing, lately.
