MM #24 problems?

MM #24 problems?
I'm hearing things floating around regarding MM #24 having some issues, and the CF&E GP38 #3885 that was brought over from the Michigan Shore is being sent in to fill/replace the 24. Any truth to this information? I caught #3885 on D700 entering the west end on Friday.
