Whole trainload of foamers all over the place. Expect a flood of pics and videos in due time

I wish I took a picture of the photo line in Carland...

Photo line? It was Photo Lines! Clumps of foam all over the place, and not a nasty word or ugly face. It's really nice when we cooperate and make way for the johnny-come-latelies.

I was quite surprised and happy to hear how quiet everyone was! Only one or two quiet phrases before the train stepped on the crossing circuit. First time out doing something like this, I thought there would be a lot more chatter.

One time I was out chasing steam around Alma during Train Festival 2009, well, it likely took a while for the photographers there to process their shots. Afterall, processing shots from three film cameras can take a while...ask this guy that I ran into in Alma:

I had an opportunity to catch the 765 yesterday over in Owosso, since nobody has uploaded anything here as of yet I figured I should contribute something. This is my first video of a train I've ever captured and I don't think it turned out too bad since I only had my cell phone with me so here it is.

You held your phone the wrong way. Vertical is bad for video.

It looked fine to me but thanks for letting me know. Like I said, I never attempted to record anything before.

I have to say everyone was quite well behaved trackside yesterday, also considering the 3 State Troopers and 5 County Mounties that followed each excursion and were well ahead of the train at ALL times.

Well, that video does state that there are two kinds of people who shoot vertically...

I got two videos of 765 on Sunday. The first is in Ithaca, at the park on the north side of town.

The second was southbound through Ashley, with the liquid fertilizer tank cars on the right edge. The chain link fence made a nice tripod for the camera.

Finally, the third video is a video from a few years back in Shepherd. It is my favorite video I've taken. It's short and a little wobbly, but the video looks cool in my opinion.
