Humboldt, L'Anse and Baraga

Driving back to MTU and noticed a few happenings:

Mineral Range is really moving on the track reactivation. There was active work on grading the line with some equipment moving down the line. No track yet but it looks like they are close to starting, at least where I crossed the rail trail. Any new info on this project???

Between Baraga and L'Anse, there was a sting of cars, mainly loaded logging cars with a mix of gondolas and open top hopper, sitting on the main with no engine. Further north, there were engines, one CN and the other BC Rail, idling on the main near the end of the line.

The cars on the main were the outbound train. The crew was taking its rest at the hotel across the street. They will probably leave early in t5he morning.
