Cool! I'll get everything edited a little bit later. It will be interesting to see how many are hit this time by, there are plenty up for grabs there...

Meet the MMRR 2057...but you probably know her as the GR 3839.

So we have the GR 3839 w/ Railtex GRE Scheme to MMRR 2057 in G&W Orange w/ MMRR Logos. Lists in the first post and the wiki have been updated accordingly.

MQT 3406 is now on property, arrived 6-6-14. Ex- SOO 750, FURX 3001 (whoo...another 3001 8) )

So while I cannot find a photo of it in Michigan as SOO (good chance with the SOO trains), I did find one of it as FURX 3001 in Durand. A certain member yet again will get to run a unit at one time he had a chance encounter with

If my eyes are seeing correctly, there is a new unit in Muskegon. By your list it looks like it's the 3839 in new paint. Thought I recognized that horn today. Good to hear her back. :D

Marquette has yet another unit, the MQT #3408, another rebuild by VMV Paducah. Logic says #3407 to come...but who knows.

History on the unit is FURX 3025 (SD40-2). Previously, it was BN SD40R #7306

I think RRpicturearchives is incorrect on this one. MP 3081 is clearly an SD40-2 with longer front and rear porches, a -2 sight glass on the hood door next to the radiator and HTC trucks. The BN 7306/FURX 3025/MQT 3408 is on a shorter SD40 frame, lacks the sight glass and rides on older Flexicoil trucks.

Thanks Jon! Edited the above and the Wiki to remove the MoPac references. Thanks for the sharp eye!

The BN 7306 was born as Mopac 3081 and had the dynamics added when it was rebuilt for BN use. The Mopac SD40-2 pic is probably the 3091, which was an early SD40-2.

Mopac 3082:

http://www.rrpicturearchives.net/showPi ... id=2888293

Mopacs SD40's ended at 3089. The first SD40-2 was 3090.

To be fair, if you don't look close at the squared off 9 in the units number, it can look like an 8.

Removed the ISRR 3388 from the lists, as it has been sent back to the ISRR. Wiki has also been updated to reflect this change.

Also, supposedly an MQT 3407 is enroute from VMV Paducah. This rounds out the new 3406-3408 trio of SD40-2s on MQT. I suspect the NREX units will disappear sooner than later after it shows up.
