Bay City Last Night

Unread post by patrick »

Was in the middle of my paper route, when I saw a string of empty hoppers sitting on the main in Essexville. I soon found the conductor at the water street crossing waiting to make a joint between cars. I quickly introduced myself and offered to help. I gave him a ride to the bottom so he could watch the crossings in the GM plant as the train shoved back. I then gave him a ride back to the head end at the mud switch. I told him of this site and he said he would check it out. The train had BN 9707 and BNSF 9902 and 119 empty cars consisting of PSTX, ESCX, and FSTX cars.
