A quick trip to Saginaw and a CSXT poll...

Went to Saginaw for the hell of it today and was dissappointed. Almost nothing there. No 6 axle power of any type in the yard unless it was burried in the outbound yard which I doubt. There was one EMD unit in the West dispatch but i don't know if it was a 4 or 6 axle unit. looked like a GP40-2. At eighth Street switching the Transflo track was the CSXT 6106. Sitting in the run around was the 2517 in dark future paint. At Wadsworth street was the 9124, Prr 5289 working and the 6048. dead all moving cars around the yard on Y220 or Y201. Also coming in the Norman Street end was the East side gang of the HESR with the 3868 and the 3865.

I wonder how I missed this. I voted for the new "Dark Future" paint.

Unlike a lot of others, I just really liked the Dark Future scheme. Something about the blue and dark yellow combination I found to be irresistable. In my opinion, its the best one yet.

Hey, whats with the fancy lettering on da nose of the 5864 there??
Anyhow, I voted for the Dark Future..all they need is C&O stencelled instead of CSX, though this style of paint was only on GP/SD35's.

I have to say this took a lot of thinking and a while to respond, but I have to say the YN2 is the best. But man after letting the new one grow on you a while it is a verry verry close second.
