Anyone Up For a Emergency Durand Meet?

Hey guys,
Would anyone want to head to Durand on October 31st for a meet? With the new diamond going in, in 2-3 weeks I would like to see the diamond at Durand one last time! No more slamming, sparks or cars nearly hoping the tracks! I will miss that exitement, and I think some people are in the same boat as me! This new diamond will offically change Durand for a long time!

Yes, I know it is just a diamond but this is changing Durand train watching. I also know Durand is slow!
I am planning on going to Durand on the 31st anyway.

I know this may be stupid to some people.

Oh for petes sake. Durand isn't the only diamond in Michigan.

It will be safer with a new diamond in place. Hasnt anyone ever noticed the amount of debris scattered along the rails.

Who cares what type of diamond it is..it is being replaced..and thats what is it important. I will see about the 31st.

I believe that I do have actual confirmation. I was told by a person that was at Durand and looking at the diamonds themselves. I trust this person because everything he has told me has been true in the past.

Don't worry about it. Just laugh along with us. As far as the changes that Zack made read the description of the new board...I'm one of the factors toward the changes made. You may not know this but I received an award for most irrelevant posts this year and I've vowed to keep the award. Pat C got most immature and I'm trying to win that one too but he's tough to beat
