Man claims to be a NS cop
BATTLE CREEK, Mich. -- An Edwardsburg man, 31, was arrested on a charge of impersonating a police officer after Battle Creek police said he told customers at a restaurant on Beckley Road he would arrest them.
Officers said the man was intoxicated and became angry about 3:15 a.m. Thursday when another customer shook him and told him to wake up.
The customer told officers the man was passed out and his face was in his plate. The man told the other customers he was a police officer with Norfolk Southern Railroad.
But, the railroad said the man was merely an employee of the railroad, not a police officer.
