It’s 394, the last TSBY
1223 OUT! President and Founder of the Buck Creek Central, the Rolling River Route! (2012-2017) President and Founder of the Lamberton Valley Railroad, The Tin Plate Road! Proudly railfanning with Asperger's since 1996.

Thank you for your very amazing insightful information
Re: GLC 329 being repainted?
I don't think it will be an AA heritage scheme (would like it though). I suspect it will either be a TSBY blue/yellow or TSBY black/yellow scheme.

Re: GLC 329 being repainted?
Well leaks are that it’s “The City of Clare” scheme, looks pretty, don’t know what 329 is but people think it’s going to be a bridge paint to mix both the original scheme, and the current scheme that’s on the SD35’s, but also people think it’s going to be another heritage
Re: GLC 329 being repainted?
Are you asking if it's very interesting?

A bridge between their actual scheme and an MRL patch job seems unlikely.dalek ling wrote: ↑Sat Aug 31, 2024 2:43 pmpeople think it’s going to be a bridge paint to mix both the original scheme, and the current scheme that’s on the SD35’s, but also people think it’s going to be another heritage

I saw a post by a Parker Eling who claimed to work for GLC that boasted of a new GLC “HU” scheme for 394. I think that this Parker Eling, whomever he is, is the logical information lean for the new scheme.

That’s me, I never claimed to work for the railroad, I just posted a leak from a “former” rail employee

As the youngsters say these days: "pics or it didn't happen!"
No matter what scheme(s) these units debut in, it's great to see GLC's investment in their fleet and image.

Re: GLC 329 being repainted?
If this thing is being painted outside today, maybe I make a quick trip down there to grab photos. Who's interested in seeing pics??

Re: GLC 329 being repainted?
I can't imagine they paint in that tiny barn with no paint booth, just for OSHA reasons alone. If there was a good chance it's outside today I'd drive down from TC to grab a few pics. It's 45 minutes each way and gas, so...dalek ling wrote: ↑Thu Sep 05, 2024 8:19 amI’ve heard it’s still in the barn, but it doesn’t hurt to check
