Sounds like the owners are ready to retire. Could be the end of one of only two tourist train operations left in the UP if no buyer is found.

Wife and I rode that about 4 or 5 years ago. Trolley wasn't much, but the boat ride was cool.

Our tour saw bears when I rode it back in 2016, but they lured them close to the tracks with food. I only rode the trolley.
There actually might be another tourist operation that opens up soon in the U.P...

Liberty Farms and Flour Mill is currently working on installing a 24" gauge railroad on their property near Skandia. Not sure if it will be a full tourist railroad, but it sounds like they will be semi open to the public soon.GTW Dude wrote: ↑Thu Aug 17, 2023 10:34 pmI'm listening...
They purchased Standard Mining Co. 0-4-0T No. 1 about 2 years ago from a private owner in Washington.
