CATA purportly requested public input and then ignored it. Their request for the public input was mere window dressing. We will get whatever station CATA wants and of course the hours will remain the same as they are now so the old the infirm those with kids can have a new station but after 330pm can wait outside in the weather and find a place that has a restroom open. And we wlll have the finest fence money can buy along the right away. Its funny how Megabus gets into the station but all the money goes to CATA and not into the actual Amtrak station for improvements. A new station without extended hours that actually serves train customers by being open in the evening is rather useless.
