LSRC 301 had 3571, 3504, and 3563 this morning and worked Wenona Yard after HESR 702 left for Durand. The 702 had 5492 and 8903.

SBS ran a southbound grain train out of Saginaw Yard this afternoon. The power was CSX 7301, 8142, and 6359. The crews had a lot of trouble getting going south, which made it seem like the train was underpowered. This train waited at Perkins for about 2 hours before moving southward.

The Z126 job had 371 coming up from Saginaw and 3563 added for the journey to Saginaw. They arrived around 11am and departed just before 4:00.

Huron and Eastern has also ran a set of light engines over to Essexville around 7:30pm with the 8804, 2001, 2002, and 9712.

Thanks for info sdavey i was coming from flint this afternoon on I-75 and noticed a block of grain cars on the main below the overpass in birch run only about 20 cars no power to be seen.
