Wish you people would get the facts right. This is not a "Santa Train". "Santa is not riding it. It is taking people to see Santa. It is called the "North Pole Express".
I used to get paid for doing what all of you like to watch!

Forgive me Hogger, I was going by what the Free Press said. I was in a hurry and wanted to make sure it got posted so anyone with kids that was interested could make plans.

PS: How do you know Santa is not riding it? I still believe in Santa. Don't you?

Help Twice???

Unread post by RXRon »

I saw a post that the PM 1225 is still in the shop and not running the North Pole Express. Also does anybody have a detailed map of the route of that run. Any help I'd be grateful. Thanks

Engine is definitely up and running or i'm seeing things.

Crew reports that the engine is firing better and consuming less fuel than previous years if i remember correctly. Aside from the normal headaches of steam locomotives what i hear from the crew is all good.

That's a big Roger! Exercising the lungs now as we speak. You might luck out though, I'm not sure if I'll be running the steamer this weekend. Might be playing Conductor, but you might have the guy who looks just like "Steamer" running the engine. Just not sure, we haven't finalized the crew schedule yet. We might jockey it around just to break up the routine a little.

we'll i'm sure you'll see me either way. I'll either have a orange and black jacket on, or a grey number with a yellow locomotive on the back.
