Amtrak Signal Problems Delay Amtrak/Metra Trains.

A signal issue near Union Station in Chicago is causing delays of up to 3 hours on both Amtrak and Metra trains departing Union Station. The problem started this morning and Amtrak is still working on getting it fixed.

Apparently, Amtrak decided to upgrade their computer system during the busy rush hour instead of on a weekend, and a worker accidentally fell on a circuit board which turned off the computers and caused service disruptions for the rest of the day.
