amtrak question - radio frequency Galesburg, IL
From Amtrak union station in Chicago to Galesburg, IL. What road channel does Amtrak use on the BNSF ? I am taking a trip soon on zephyr #6 and looking to find the radio freq. so I can rail fan wile I ride along. THANKS!

Put both 161.100 and 161.160 in and you'll have it covered. It's 161.385 beyond Aurora. All three of those in and scanning and I guarantee you won't miss anything. So is this all of the channels that are used in the Chicago area for Amtrak? I will be going to Chicago via the Chicago line on NS which is ch.46. What else am I missing?
