From the many videos I see of people who hhave railfanned there, CSX and BNSF operate through the town. However, I'm curious.
Is it BNSF's line where CSX trains have trackage rights or is it that a lot of BNSF trains commonly feature CSX power OR does CSX's Chicago line run through there as well?
What does Naperville have to offer?

To my knowledge that's just BNSF, the old BN racetrack. Likely a lot of CSX power through there now on the oil trains in addition to the ethanols.

There is a Metra station there that you can park at and watch.
I'm just here to put in time claims and complain

CSX crews deliver empty coal trains (and I would assume Oil cans) to Cicero on the CB&Q. Usually 'the hole in the fence' around Keeler Ave. That's probably where the 'rights' end, there or the W/E of Cicero Yard. One time I had to take a train into the Yard, but that required someone coming out to 'pilot' us down into it just because we never did it. BNSF crews would deliver the EB trains to 51st or 63rd St. Sometimes, they may take them all the way to Barr Yard.BamaSubdivision94 wrote: Is it BNSF's line where CSX trains have trackage rights or is it that a lot of BNSF trains commonly feature CSX power OR does CSX's Chicago line run through there as well?
