Auburn Indiana and Butler Ohio Questions...

Guys,

I need some good info on Auburn, Indiana:

Where can you park, if any place - I see on Google Maps that parking anywhere may be limited as line goes south of town.

What are the frequencies? Are these it - 160.230, 160.320 - ?

Hot box detectors nearby?

Can you list a few mile posts, like on East and West side of town?

What train #'s run through?

Now for Butler:

All i need to know is if there are any other frequencies other than 160.380 for the Huntington District and 160.800 for the Chicago Line that both NS lines use?

Also, I've been told the diamond is 385.5 on the NS Chicago Line. Is the MP number increasing or decreasing as you travel West toward Chicago?

Thanks a lot for the help!!!!

Well, number 1, Butler is in Indiana, not Ohio. That is unless you really do mean Butler, OH south of Mansfield which has no railroads.

Dave, I asked a similar question a few weeks ago and Scooterb replied with some great information.

I tried to find some good places to park around Auburn, but there really aren't any. But Garrett is less than 5 miles west, and has a nice parking lot on the west side of Randolph St. (IN-327), on the north side of the tracks. I highly recommend it. There is a yard there and it is a crew change point -- a lot going on there.
