N&W varnish blows thru Elkhart this morning

Anybody know anything about a N&W maroon passenger train headed east on NS main in Elkhart today about 8:50 AM? Only caught a glimpse of it as it was moving fast after the turn. Did not see motive power. Not a normal move as all eastbound Amtrak trains run after sunset. Lots of cars. Maybe a ferry move or an employee special.
