Thanks for the heads up; I will watch for any changes on ATCS. FYI, the crossing railroad is not IHB, but NS's SC&S IT (South Chicago and Southern Industrial Track [ex-PRR]).

When operating trains through Pullman Jct., Milepost B 512.2, crews can traverse multiple route(s). This can include acquiring multiple signals in addition to operating hand operated switches within NS Pullman Jct.

To enhance operation through NS Pullman Jct the following instructions will apply. When multiple trains need route(s) through NS Pullman Jct, consideration must be taken on priority and routing of each train.

When a train is routed through NS Pullman Jct on the NS Main Line, all other cross traffic route(s) WILL NOT receive a signal indication until Main Line traffic clears Pullman Jct interlocking. Signal indications for route(s) other than Main Line will only be given once Main Line traffic has cleared the Pullman Jct Interlocking and route is lined for movement.
NS Operators are refrain from stacking signals for cross traffic prior to Main Line traffic clearing Pullman Jct interlocking. NS Operators must ensure prior to giving signal(s) or permission by signal(s), route(s) must be properly lined for the crew’s entire movement through the interlocking, including all hand operated switches within.
-----------

I knew Pullman was a messed up setup. But this has to take the cake.

There is a CREATE project EW3 for Pullman Junction, but who knows when it will ever get funding.

Pullman is weeeeeeird.

Its got four full on power switches.
its got three semi interlocked switches. In that the dispatcher locks and unlocks them and lines signals over them once the crewman lines the route (A VERY NKP THING)
Then there are two switches on the CSL and one from the NS connection that are completely non monitored.
Then the CSL diamond across the old NKP passenger lead is NOT interlocked.

Well something is going on in the area. Spotted this on the ATCS forum

NS intermediate signal between 81st Street and Pullman Jct. (geographically, just east of the Dan Ryan between 90th and 91st Streets) is being replaced. When I was there (with authorization) a few days ago, the vertical was in place and the cross arm was lying on the ground near it. I suppose that soon after the new signals are in place and functioning, the old signal bridge which spans not only NS but also BRC will be removed. (It has no signals over the BRC tracks.)

I would presume that this work would just be to bring the signals up to current standards to support PTC.

I am seeing 75509210020202 with what appears to be 6 switches in a testing mode tonight (should be the NS Chicago District). I was first thinking that this could possibly be the NS view of BRC 80th Street, but 80th Street has 7 switches.

Has anyone heard of new NS changes?

I have not noticed any changes. I did see some BCP activity there last night on the original address.

Six would be right for the drawbridge.

Four derails and two switches.

My money is on Cummings Drawbridge.

I am watching it now.

Judging from the way the controls are. 6 switches. One signal pair, 4 OOS bits. It is Cummings Drawbridge.

And yet another drawbridge that acts in a different way.

Bridges are so much fun in ATCS. Not a one acts the same way depending on what railroad set them up.
