I was wondering around how many trains run on the street running segment a day.I wanna get some pics but I also don't wanna wait six hours to get a pic either. Thanks for any info.

Lucky for you most of the traffic is scheduled passenger service.

Be there for the morning rush, and you will see more then you care for.
Catching a freight is more tricky. You have to go when there are not so many passenger trains scheduled. They will let a freight sneak thru whenever there is not a lot of passenger trains.

Yep. Most freights follow the morning rush then get out of the way for the evening return trains.
(Assuming you include light engine moves as "trains" you will see something. And if you can't find a passenger train you woke up too late.)
