Mobile ATCS SERVER
I will be doing a field check between CP 397 and CP 352
Some notes.
All the new signals are in place between 412 and 397, not cut in yet except those that were put in from 406 to 412 to protect the new 412
397 and 395 CPs will have MEDIUM APROACH MEDIUM aspects for 2tk to 1tk to 2tk moves.
Big crew at work at 397.
More later.

WAS signals at cp358 butler have no replacements next to them.
They may survive

I have not been out that way in a few weeks. 407 and 410 intermediates were replaced as part of CP 412 (and the separate code line block for trains occupying track between 407 and 405 was lost). New 405 signals were not up ... new 403 signals were on the ground east of SR 13. At that time CP 397 and CP 395 needed a lot of work (switch point heaters as well as new signals).LakeATCS wrote:All the new signals are in place between 412 and 397, not cut in yet except those that were put in from 406 to 412 to protect the new 412
Have you been able to confirm that all new signals 405 and east to CP 352 are in place? If so, it has been a good couple of weeks.
Hopefully you had a chance to look at Waterloo and see the Eastbound ... and Butler to see "West Butler" on the Huntington District.
Re: CP 397 to CP 352 field check, & mobile ATCS server
I would say 95% of MP 405 to CP-352 looks to be in place excepting some minor things. Biggest thing missing was a couple of the PTC sticks were not put up yet. They are getting close.
It looks like CP-358 May have the only G heads between Toledo and Elkhart when this is finished.
Also the Wabash project is seperate. It's a non PTC upgrade to eliminate the dark siding tracks between Blakeslee OH and Grabil IN.
All four sidings (Blakeslee, Butler, Spencerville, and Grabil) are getting new home siganls (With the exception of CP-358. East Butler as the WAS there has all the aspects it needs for a signaled siding thanks to the connection track)
This will of course mean the END of the Wabash searchlight dwarves.

Do you happen to know if replacements are up at these locations? I was just in the area and did not have the time to check and see if any progress had been made (but we did look between Peru & Roanoke). Would love to see those rare Wabash dwarfs before they disappear...LakeATCS wrote:I would say 95% of MP 405 to CP-352 looks to be in place excepting some minor things. Replacements are up at each one yes.
BUT, they put the replacements at West Grabil on the other side of the road, so it is possible to photo the Dwarf there without the new sigs in view.
