Car gets hit by train in Walkerton.

This morning at the crossing on C.R. 104, a driver attempted to beat a train, but the car was hit. He and his passenger were injured when the train, traveling 52mph at time of impact, hit their car.

The driver was ticketed for driving under the influence, his passenger was arrested on an outstanding warrant. The driver suffered a broken neck while the passenger was treated and released from the hospital with minor injuries.
