CSX puts a train on the ground near indy

my mom who is in the VA hospital in indy called and reported that CSX has a train on the ground SE of indy in the town of Morristown,IN destroying a 100 year old bridge and sending HAZMAT and plastic granual in to the Blue River.

This is also the route the Cardinal runs on between Indy and Cincy. The bridge I believe was completely destroyed. Hopefully they rebuild it and don't just cut off that line.

The Cardinal is terminating in Cincinnati now until further notice.

Trains 850 and 851, which normally operate four days per week, will operate daily between Chicago and Indianapolis while Trains 50 and 51 are unable to operate west of Cincinnati.

Line is re-opened for traffic as of yesterday morning. They said they'd have the line open by July 17th, and they did. I guess the Cardinal will start running again as of Wednesday as a thru train.
