If they get steel from SDI, they'll probably build close enough that SDI can deliver directly. Several firms surround the Butler Mill and get rail service direct from SDI. Cost of transportation must be pennies compared to getting it shipped any distance. Out of the rolling mill, onto a captive mill car, and delivered minutes later.

Similar to how Delta is set up with Worthington Steel being just across the road from NorthStar - and the steel stays on the interplant trackage that connects the two.
